But before going there, let’s take a look at what we call “heart failure” and its symptoms.
Heart failure is a chronic condition in which the heart doesn’t pump blood as well as it should. Heart failure can occur if the heart cannot pump (systolic) or fill (diastolic) adequately.
Signs and symptoms of heart diseases that can cause heart failure include:
1) Gastrointestinal: Water retention or bloating.
2) Pain areas: In the chest
3) Cough: can be dry or with phlegm.
4) Whole body: fatigue, dizziness, inability to exercise or lose appetite.
5) Respiratory: Fast breathing, shortneas of breath at nights, shortness of breath during exercise or shortness of breath on lying down.
Below are some foods we should stop taking excessively so as to avoid heart failure
1) Alcohol
Although moderate drink of alcohol cannot harm your heart except if you have high blood pressure or high triglycerides. But two much of it can cause high blood pressure, strokes, Heart failure. So, you need to avoid talking it excessively.
2) Processed meat
Meats like hot dogs, salami, sausage are type of meats that is very dangerous for your health because they harm your heart. You need to avoid them so as not develop heart failure.
3) Sugar, Salt and Fat.
Too much of sugar, fat and salt in your body causes risk of heart attack or stroke. Taking sugar, fat and salt excessively is not advisable because they can harm your heart which will later turn to heart failure.
4) Bacon
Research made us known that more than half of Bacon’s calories comes from saturated fat, which can raise your low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or bad cholesterol, and also boost your chance of a heart attack or stroke.. So, for the purpose of good health, avoid taking Bacon excessively.
5) Baked Foods.
Baked foods like muffin, cakes, and cookies contains high quantity of sugar, they are also linked to higher triglyceride levels which can lead to heart disease and cause heart failure.
6) Red Meat
Eating too much of meats like pork, lamb or beef beef, causes heart disease and diabetes because they are high in saturated fat which can boost cholesterol.
7) Ice Cream
We all know that ice cream contains high quantity of sugar, calories and saturated fat which can cause weight gain.
It can also drive up your triglycerides and lead to a heart attack.
8) Cheese
Cheese is well known as the single biggest contributor of saturated fat to the America diet. And unlike other fats, the saturated variety is one of the most likely to be stored in the stomach, and wreak havoc on your cardiovascular well-being. Scale back on the mozzarella and cheddar to zap away belly fat and keep your ticker pumping problem free.
