The Nigeria Police force on Monday in an attempt to stop #ENDSARS protesters from coming any closer to its headquarters have blocked a particular lane of the road, which leads to its base in the Asokoro area of Abuja.
CRIMECHANNELS gathered that the headquarters was heavily guarded as armed Police operatives manned strategic locations around the building.
It was also learnt that around 2:00pm on Monday, several policemen chased some hoodlums who were armed with sharp objects and sticks, the hoodlums were said to exceeded 50 in numbers.
As a result of the pursuit, many of the hoodlums scattered into various streets in Asokoro, causing the area to be tensed as motorists drove in haste to avoid being caught in a possible clash.
Also, the NPF deployed some of its men to the headquarters of the Central Bank of Nigeria, according to reports, some protesters were gathered around the vicinity to protest police brutality.
It was learnt that the Police officers stopped the protest at the CBN headquarters and ensured that no one was allowed to hang around the premises unless they came to do something important.
