Adele ‘in tears’ as she makes her music comeback in front of star-studded crowd

Adele was in tears as she made her return to the stage in front of a star-studded audience in London.

The 33-year-old singing sensation wowed fans during her filming for ITV’s An Audience With Adele, but not before she admitted to being nervous.

Taking to the stage, the Easy On Me singer confessed: “I’m so nervous,” before belting out some of her classic tunes.

She has been been open in the past about suffering stage fright and said: “I’m s***ting it! I’m so nervous!”

The occasion marked her first UK visit in two years and she was joined on stage by partner Rich Paul, 39.

The audience at the London Palladium was made up of a host of famous faces including Dua Lipa, Idris Elba and Michael McIntyre.

Adele’s long-time pal Alan Carr was also in attendance and joined the superstar on stage at one point.

It was Adele’s first time on stage in the UK since 2017 and she confessed to needing an autocue to remember her own lyrics as it had been so long.
